According to the latest market share ranking of global DRAM module manufacturers by DRAMeXchange, Transcend ranks No.4, up from No.9 in 2005, with a market share of 4.02%. Nowadays, Transcend enjoys a leading status in the memory market of Taiwan, Europe, Japan, Russia, and the middles east.

The total sales revenue of DRAM modules in 2006 was US$6.3 billions. There are nine Taiwanese memory module manufacturers among the top 20 with a market share of 37%. Compared to a market share of 23% in Q1 2006, Taiwanese memory module manufacturers show an amazing growth. Transcend’s overall sales increased due to its new 8 SMT lines and strong sales network in China.
